Start with the link source

When several accounts share a similar name, the first thing to check is not the photo. Start with the route from the social profile to the official page.

Look for the same link in the bio, pinned post, and other social profiles. If every route points somewhere different, save the profile and slow down.

Check the same details in the same order

A verified badge can help, but it should not be the only signal. Compare the bio, pinned posts, link-in-bio page, official profile text, and recent updates.

If the paid profile uses a different name, has almost no history, or skips pricing details, treat that as a reason to pause.

Keep doubtful profiles out of the shortlist

A small mismatch is enough to wait. The safer route is to keep only profiles with clear official links and visible terms.

If the profile still looks unclear the next day, remove it from the shortlist and continue with better documented routes.
